Market Activety Report in SW Washington
Residential Highlights through March.
Market activity in March showed forward progress for month-to-month comparions. When comparing March to February 2008 closed sales were up 22.2%, while pending sales also increased 5.5%. On the other hand when comparing same time frame to 2007 closed sales were down as well as new listings. Also note worthy is the level of available inventory available in Clark County dropped to 9.1 months.
The price of homes continue to stay about were the are currently at, meaning the average sale price appreciated 0.2% through the 12 month comparision ending in March, but the median sale price decreased just slightly by 1%.
